San Miguel de Allende
San Miguel has been voted the best place to live in the world! Rich in Mexican culture, tradition and festivals, SMA is family friendly and host to a large expat community with many services and activities which cater to that sector of the population. It also boasts the largest English library in Central and South America!
The Hacienda
We will host many different weekly events that foster community life right at the heart of the community, which is the main house or “hacienda”. The events will include cultural, practical, and fun activities such as cooking meals together, preparing harvested produce, hanging out at the pool, watching movies under the stars, singing with live music, learning how to build a chair or engaging in an artistic or craft activity.
Playground Area
Rancho Sekkan will have several areas in which children can play and explore. There will be playgrounds, biking trails encircling the property, a park, and several ponds in which to find fish and frogs. It is a priority for Rancho Sekkan to create and provide safe and fun places for our children to learn, play, and explore freely in a natural environment.
The Farm
The regeneration of the land at Rancho Sekkan is a priority, and we expect each member of the community to participate in the practical activities of farming. We will host regular workshops and community work parties to work on specific projects.
Biking and walking trails
Let the kids play outside! We will create a network of biking and walking trails around the perimeter of the property for everyone to enjoy.
